Question 1

What do front end 2017 HONDA ODYSSEY models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 151 recorded sales of the 2017 HONDA ODYSSEY with front end damage, the median was $4,400, from $3,150 to $6,300. That is 2% below the $4,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,700 a good price for this 2017 HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

355 comparable 2017 HONDA ODYSSEY listings sold at auction for a median of $4,500, spanning $3,200 to $6,900. At $3,700 this one went 18% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA ODYSSEY sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 HONDA ODYSSEY's pre-damage retail value at $11,978. It sold for $3,700 — 69% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

This HONDA ODYSSEY has front end and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 118,652 miles high for a 2017 HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 HONDA ODYSSEY listings at auction averaged 106,710 miles across 355 sales, so at 118,652 miles this one sits 11% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does a salvage title mean for this HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 HONDA ODYSSEY was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.
