Question 1

What do front end 2020 HONDA ODYSSEY models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 11 recorded sales of the 2020 HONDA ODYSSEY with front end damage, the median was $8,263, from $4,575 to $11,675. That is 29% above the $6,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $11,675 a good price for this 2020 HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

1178 comparable 2020 HONDA ODYSSEY listings sold at auction for a median of $6,400, spanning $3,800 to $11,250. At $11,675 this one went 82% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This HONDA ODYSSEY sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a other (california) mean for this HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 HONDA ODYSSEY was sold on a other (california). The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 5

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA ODYSSEY sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 HONDA ODYSSEY's pre-damage retail value at $36,238. It sold for $11,675 — 68% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 6

Is 47,597 miles high for a 2020 HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 HONDA ODYSSEY listings at auction averaged 79,520 miles across 1178 sales, so at 47,597 miles this one sits 40% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
