Question 1

What do side 2019 HONDA ODYSSEY models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 233 recorded sales of the 2019 HONDA ODYSSEY with side damage, the median was $6,500, from $4,100 to $10,000. That is 7% above the $6,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $12,000 a good price for this 2019 HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

2262 comparable 2019 HONDA ODYSSEY listings sold at auction for a median of $6,100, spanning $3,750 to $10,000. At $12,000 this one went 97% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA ODYSSEY sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 HONDA ODYSSEY's pre-damage retail value at $27,832. It sold for $12,000 — 57% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 HONDA ODYSSEY. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This HONDA ODYSSEY has side and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 69,727 miles high for a 2019 HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 HONDA ODYSSEY listings at auction averaged 91,757 miles across 2262 sales, so at 69,727 miles this one sits 24% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
