Question 1

What do front end 2024 HONDA HR-V models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 1346 recorded sales of the 2024 HONDA HR-V with front end damage, the median was $6,800, from $4,050 to $9,500. That is 9% below the $7,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,000 a good price for this 2024 HONDA HR-V?

Accepted Answer

2971 comparable 2024 HONDA HR-V listings sold at auction for a median of $7,500, spanning $4,300 to $10,800. At $5,000 this one went 33% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This HONDA HR-V sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA HR-V sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2024 HONDA HR-V's pre-damage retail value at $24,353. It sold for $5,000 — 79% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 5

Is 40,951 miles high for a 2024 HONDA HR-V?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2024 HONDA HR-V listings at auction averaged 25,244 miles across 2971 sales, so at 40,951 miles this one sits 62% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2024 HONDA HR-V. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
