Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2020 HONDA HR-V models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 15 recorded sales of the 2020 HONDA HR-V with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $6,850, from $4,100 to $9,600. That is 44% above the $4,750 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,600 a good price for this 2020 HONDA HR-V?

Accepted Answer

1550 comparable 2020 HONDA HR-V listings sold at auction for a median of $4,750, spanning $3,450 to $7,000. At $9,600 this one went 102% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this HONDA HR-V?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 HONDA HR-V was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this HONDA HR-V from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NY - BROOKHAVEN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 HONDA HR-V. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 68,629 miles high for a 2020 HONDA HR-V?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 HONDA HR-V listings at auction averaged 65,109 miles across 1550 sales, so at 68,629 miles this one sits 5% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
