Question 1

What do front end 2019 HONDA HR-V models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 1445 recorded sales of the 2019 HONDA HR-V with front end damage, the median was $4,250, from $3,250 to $6,000. That is 4% below the $4,450 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,450 a good price for this 2019 HONDA HR-V?

Accepted Answer

2827 comparable 2019 HONDA HR-V listings sold at auction for a median of $4,450, spanning $3,300 to $6,500. At $4,450 this one went exactly at that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this HONDA HR-V?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 HONDA HR-V was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this HONDA HR-V from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MN - RANDOLPH. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 1,100 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $725-$1,050, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 HONDA HR-V. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 70,428 miles high for a 2019 HONDA HR-V?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 HONDA HR-V listings at auction averaged 73,425 miles across 2827 sales, so at 70,428 miles this one sits 4% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
