Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2017 HONDA HR-V models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 36 recorded sales of the 2017 HONDA HR-V with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $4,050, from $3,100 to $5,450. That is 1% above the $4,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 HONDA HR-V. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

This HONDA HR-V has normal wear & tear and left side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 198,837 miles high for a 2017 HONDA HR-V?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 HONDA HR-V listings at auction averaged 96,428 miles across 1653 sales, so at 198,837 miles this one sits 106% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2017 HONDA HR-V come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with normal wear & tear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2017 HONDA HR-V from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2017 HONDA HR-V was listed at IAAI as lot 46517266 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
