Question 1

What do rear end 2017 HONDA HR-V models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 180 recorded sales of the 2017 HONDA HR-V with rear end damage, the median was $4,200, from $3,200 to $5,700. That is 5% above the $4,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a non-repairable mean for this HONDA HR-V?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 HONDA HR-V was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 3

How far is this HONDA HR-V from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in AL - MONTGOMERY. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 350 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$425, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 171,670 miles high for a 2017 HONDA HR-V?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 HONDA HR-V listings at auction averaged 96,548 miles across 1623 sales, so at 171,670 miles this one sits 78% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2017 HONDA HR-V come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with rear end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2017 HONDA HR-V from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2017 HONDA HR-V was listed at COPART as lot 53639335 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
