Question 1

What do front end 2018 HONDA HR-V models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 926 recorded sales of the 2018 HONDA HR-V with front end damage, the median was $4,000, from $3,200 to $5,500. That is 4% below the $4,150 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This HONDA HR-V sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

Is 104,197 miles high for a 2018 HONDA HR-V?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 HONDA HR-V listings at auction averaged 87,697 miles across 1824 sales, so at 104,197 miles this one sits 19% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Who sold this 2018 HONDA HR-V?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was ERIE INSURANCE GROUP. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

Can I buy this 2018 HONDA HR-V from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2018 HONDA HR-V was listed at IAAI as lot 46440408 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
