Question 1

What do left rear 2017 HONDA HR-V models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 20 recorded sales of the 2017 HONDA HR-V with left rear damage, the median was $4,763, from $3,150 to $5,550. That is 19% above the $4,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a non-repairable mean for this HONDA HR-V?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 HONDA HR-V was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 HONDA HR-V. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 78,537 miles high for a 2017 HONDA HR-V?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 HONDA HR-V listings at auction averaged 96,361 miles across 1652 sales, so at 78,537 miles this one sits 18% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This HONDA HR-V has left rear and unknown damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Where was this HONDA HR-V located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in HI - PUUNENE. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.
