Question 1

What do left front 2016 HONDA HR-V models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 51 recorded sales of the 2016 HONDA HR-V with left front damage, the median was $3,900, from $3,200 to $4,750. That is 3% above the $3,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,250 a good price for this 2016 HONDA HR-V?

Accepted Answer

2142 comparable 2016 HONDA HR-V listings sold at auction for a median of $3,800, spanning $3,150 to $5,100. At $3,250 this one went 14% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this HONDA HR-V?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 HONDA HR-V was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this HONDA HR-V from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NC - CLAYTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Charleston, roughly 280 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 HONDA HR-V. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 85,849 miles high for a 2016 HONDA HR-V?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 HONDA HR-V listings at auction averaged 107,677 miles across 2142 sales, so at 85,849 miles this one sits 20% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
