Question 1

What do front end 2024 HONDA HR-V models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 1318 recorded sales of the 2024 HONDA HR-V with front end damage, the median was $6,800, from $4,050 to $9,500. That is 9% below the $7,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,700 a good price for this 2024 HONDA HR-V?

Accepted Answer

2913 comparable 2024 HONDA HR-V listings sold at auction for a median of $7,500, spanning $4,300 to $10,800. At $6,700 this one went 11% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this HONDA HR-V from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NJ - PORT MURRAY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 30 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2024 HONDA HR-V. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 12,797 miles high for a 2024 HONDA HR-V?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2024 HONDA HR-V listings at auction averaged 24,957 miles across 2913 sales, so at 12,797 miles this one sits 49% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2024 HONDA HR-V?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was NEW JERSEY MANUFACTURING GROUP. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
