Question 1

What do left front 2022 HONDA HR-V models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 69 recorded sales of the 2022 HONDA HR-V with left front damage, the median was $5,288, from $3,750 to $7,450. That is 3% above the $5,150 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,050 a good price for this 2022 HONDA HR-V?

Accepted Answer

2930 comparable 2022 HONDA HR-V listings sold at auction for a median of $5,150, spanning $3,550 to $7,600. At $4,050 this one went 21% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 HONDA HR-V. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

This HONDA HR-V has left front and suspension damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 62,246 miles high for a 2022 HONDA HR-V?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 HONDA HR-V listings at auction averaged 50,958 miles across 2930 sales, so at 62,246 miles this one sits 22% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2022 HONDA HR-V?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was AUTO CLUB OF SOUTHERN CA (ACSC). Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
