Question 1

What do front end 2020 HONDA HR-V models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 776 recorded sales of the 2020 HONDA HR-V with front end damage, the median was $4,500, from $3,400 to $6,200. That is 5% below the $4,750 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,450 a good price for this 2020 HONDA HR-V?

Accepted Answer

1512 comparable 2020 HONDA HR-V listings sold at auction for a median of $4,750, spanning $3,475 to $7,000. At $3,450 this one went 27% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this HONDA HR-V?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 HONDA HR-V was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

Is 85,000 miles high for a 2020 HONDA HR-V?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 HONDA HR-V listings at auction averaged 65,117 miles across 1512 sales, so at 85,000 miles this one sits 31% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 HONDA HR-V. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

This HONDA HR-V has front end and left & right side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
