Question 1

What does a qc-v.g.a-quebec mean for this HONDA HR-V?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 HONDA HR-V was sold on a qc-v.g.a-quebec. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 2

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 HONDA HR-V. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

This HONDA HR-V has front and left front damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 89,832 miles high for a 2016 HONDA HR-V?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 HONDA HR-V listings at auction averaged 107,596 miles across 2085 sales, so at 89,832 miles this one sits 17% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Where was this HONDA HR-V located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in QUEBEC - ST-NICOLAS. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2016 HONDA HR-V from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 HONDA HR-V was listed at IAAI as lot 12571262 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
