Question 1

What do front end 2022 HONDA CIVIC models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 2905 recorded sales of the 2022 HONDA CIVIC with front end damage, the median was $5,700, from $3,550 to $8,250. That is 9% below the $6,250 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,500 a good price for this 2022 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

6136 comparable 2022 HONDA CIVIC listings sold at auction for a median of $6,250, spanning $3,725 to $9,200. At $6,500 this one went 4% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA CIVIC sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2022 HONDA CIVIC's pre-damage retail value at $21,548. It sold for $6,500 — 70% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 HONDA CIVIC was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

Is 33,415 miles high for a 2022 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 HONDA CIVIC listings at auction averaged 54,877 miles across 6136 sales, so at 33,415 miles this one sits 39% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 HONDA CIVIC. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
