Question 1

Was $5,500 a good price for this 2020 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

7069 comparable 2020 HONDA CIVIC listings sold at auction for a median of $5,000, spanning $3,400 to $7,400. At $5,500 this one went 10% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA CIVIC sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 HONDA CIVIC's pre-damage retail value at $23,082. It sold for $5,500 — 76% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a non-repairable mean for this HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 HONDA CIVIC was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 4

This HONDA CIVIC has burn - interior and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 HONDA CIVIC. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 100,834 miles high for a 2020 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 HONDA CIVIC listings at auction averaged 72,983 miles across 7069 sales, so at 100,834 miles this one sits 38% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
