Question 1

What do front end 2017 HONDA CIVIC models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 3643 recorded sales of the 2017 HONDA CIVIC with front end damage, the median was $4,000, from $3,150 to $5,600. That is 2% below the $4,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a salvage title mean for this HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 HONDA CIVIC was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

How far is this HONDA CIVIC from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in IA - DES MOINES. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 1,000 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $650-$950, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 173,274 miles high for a 2017 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 HONDA CIVIC listings at auction averaged 104,846 miles across 7807 sales, so at 173,274 miles this one sits 65% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2017 HONDA CIVIC come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN SHHFK7H90HU427318?

Accepted Answer

SHHFK7H90HU427318 identifies this specific 2017 HONDA CIVIC in black with a 1.5l 4 engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
