Question 1

What do rear end 2026 HONDA CIVIC models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 214 recorded sales of the 2026 HONDA CIVIC with rear end damage, the median was $9,700, from $5,700 to $12,700. That is 10% above the $8,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,800 a good price for this 2026 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

2226 comparable 2026 HONDA CIVIC listings sold at auction for a median of $8,800, spanning $4,750 to $12,600. At $7,800 this one went 11% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA CIVIC sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2026 HONDA CIVIC's pre-damage retail value at $26,820. It sold for $7,800 — 71% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

This HONDA CIVIC has rear end and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What does a salvage title mean for this HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

This 2026 HONDA CIVIC was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

Is 1,656 miles high for a 2026 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2026 HONDA CIVIC listings at auction averaged 6,566 miles across 2226 sales, so at 1,656 miles this one sits 75% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
