Question 1

What do rear 2024 HONDA CIVIC models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 247 recorded sales of the 2024 HONDA CIVIC with rear damage, the median was $8,063, from $5,300 to $11,125. That is 10% above the $7,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,400 a good price for this 2024 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

6728 comparable 2024 HONDA CIVIC listings sold at auction for a median of $7,300, spanning $4,050 to $10,400. At $3,400 this one went 53% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This HONDA CIVIC sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2024 HONDA CIVIC. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

What does a salvage mean for this HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

This 2024 HONDA CIVIC was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

Is 16,854 miles high for a 2024 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2024 HONDA CIVIC listings at auction averaged 26,451 miles across 6728 sales, so at 16,854 miles this one sits 36% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
