Question 1

What do water/flood 2024 HONDA CIVIC models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 62 recorded sales of the 2024 HONDA CIVIC with water/flood damage, the median was $7,600, from $5,300 to $12,400. That is 4% above the $7,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $10,000 a good price for this 2024 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

6774 comparable 2024 HONDA CIVIC listings sold at auction for a median of $7,300, spanning $4,050 to $10,400. At $10,000 this one went 37% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA CIVIC sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2024 HONDA CIVIC's pre-damage retail value at $23,487. It sold for $10,000 — 57% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2024 HONDA CIVIC. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

What does a non-repairable mean for this HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

This 2024 HONDA CIVIC was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 6

Is 37,224 miles high for a 2024 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2024 HONDA CIVIC listings at auction averaged 26,545 miles across 6774 sales, so at 37,224 miles this one sits 40% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
