Question 1

What do water/flood 2023 HONDA CIVIC models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 49 recorded sales of the 2023 HONDA CIVIC with water/flood damage, the median was $8,450, from $4,250 to $12,000. That is 26% above the $6,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $10,000 a good price for this 2023 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

4278 comparable 2023 HONDA CIVIC listings sold at auction for a median of $6,700, spanning $3,900 to $9,700. At $10,000 this one went 49% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This HONDA CIVIC sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 HONDA CIVIC. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA CIVIC sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2023 HONDA CIVIC's pre-damage retail value at $19,024. It sold for $10,000 — 47% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 6

Is 34,487 miles high for a 2023 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 HONDA CIVIC listings at auction averaged 38,642 miles across 4278 sales, so at 34,487 miles this one sits 11% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
