Question 1

What do top/roof 2022 HONDA CIVIC models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 15 recorded sales of the 2022 HONDA CIVIC with top/roof damage, the median was $7,850, from $5,300 to $9,400. That is 25% above the $6,263 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

How far is this HONDA CIVIC from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NY - MARLBORO. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 HONDA CIVIC. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 11,936 miles high for a 2022 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 HONDA CIVIC listings at auction averaged 55,047 miles across 6223 sales, so at 11,936 miles this one sits 78% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This HONDA CIVIC has top/roof and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 2HGFE2F57NH586145?

Accepted Answer

2HGFE2F57NH586145 identifies this specific 2022 HONDA CIVIC in white with a 2.0l 4 engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
