Question 1

What do rear end 2022 HONDA CIVIC models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 640 recorded sales of the 2022 HONDA CIVIC with rear end damage, the median was $6,650, from $4,150 to $9,200. That is 6% above the $6,275 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,800 a good price for this 2022 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

6168 comparable 2022 HONDA CIVIC listings sold at auction for a median of $6,275, spanning $3,700 to $9,200. At $8,800 this one went 40% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA CIVIC sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2022 HONDA CIVIC's pre-damage retail value at $23,522. It sold for $8,800 — 63% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a clean title mean for this HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 HONDA CIVIC was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 5

This HONDA CIVIC has rear end and undercarriage damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 76,842 miles high for a 2022 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 HONDA CIVIC listings at auction averaged 54,937 miles across 6168 sales, so at 76,842 miles this one sits 40% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
