Question 1

What do rear end 2019 HONDA CIVIC models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 903 recorded sales of the 2019 HONDA CIVIC with rear end damage, the median was $4,700, from $3,350 to $6,800. That is 3% above the $4,550 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,500 a good price for this 2019 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

7391 comparable 2019 HONDA CIVIC listings sold at auction for a median of $4,550, spanning $3,250 to $6,900. At $5,500 this one went 21% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA CIVIC sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 HONDA CIVIC's pre-damage retail value at $19,079. It sold for $5,500 — 71% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 HONDA CIVIC was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

Is 79,785 miles high for a 2019 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 HONDA CIVIC listings at auction averaged 82,829 miles across 7391 sales, so at 79,785 miles this one sits 4% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This HONDA CIVIC has rear end and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
