Question 1

What do side 2022 HONDA CIVIC models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 586 recorded sales of the 2022 HONDA CIVIC with side damage, the median was $6,900, from $4,350 to $9,600. That is 10% above the $6,275 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,800 a good price for this 2022 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

6186 comparable 2022 HONDA CIVIC listings sold at auction for a median of $6,275, spanning $3,725 to $9,200. At $8,800 this one went 40% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage title mean for this HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 HONDA CIVIC was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

This HONDA CIVIC has side and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 52,425 miles high for a 2022 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 HONDA CIVIC listings at auction averaged 54,947 miles across 6186 sales, so at 52,425 miles this one sits 5% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this HONDA CIVIC from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CT - EAST GRANBY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 120 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
