Question 1

What do rear 2018 HONDA CIVIC models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 325 recorded sales of the 2018 HONDA CIVIC with rear damage, the median was $4,600, from $3,350 to $6,500. That is 8% above the $4,275 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a ns-salvage-nova scotia mean for this HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 HONDA CIVIC was sold on a ns-salvage-nova scotia. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 HONDA CIVIC. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 86,994 miles high for a 2018 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 HONDA CIVIC listings at auction averaged 94,090 miles across 7599 sales, so at 86,994 miles this one sits 8% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2018 HONDA CIVIC come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with rear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
