What does a on-salvage-ontario mean for this HONDA CIVIC?

This 2018 HONDA CIVIC was sold on a on-salvage-ontario. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 HONDA CIVIC. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Is 87,689 miles high for a 2018 HONDA CIVIC?

Comparable 2018 HONDA CIVIC listings at auction averaged 94,248 miles across 7768 sales, so at 87,689 miles this one sits 7% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Where was this HONDA CIVIC located?

The lot was held at IAAI in ONTARIO - STOUFFVILLE. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Did this 2018 HONDA CIVIC come with keys?

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
