Question 1

What do front end 2017 HONDA CIVIC models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 3704 recorded sales of the 2017 HONDA CIVIC with front end damage, the median was $4,000, from $3,150 to $5,600. That is 2% below the $4,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a certificate of destruction mean for this HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 HONDA CIVIC was sold on a certificate of destruction. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 3

How far is this HONDA CIVIC from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in FL - FORT PIERCE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 128,815 miles high for a 2017 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 HONDA CIVIC listings at auction averaged 104,946 miles across 7967 sales, so at 128,815 miles this one sits 23% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This HONDA CIVIC has front end and rear end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Who sold this 2017 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was STATE FARM INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
