Question 1

What do front end 2018 HONDA CIVIC models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 3600 recorded sales of the 2018 HONDA CIVIC with front end damage, the median was $4,150, from $3,200 to $6,000. That is 3% below the $4,275 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,550 a good price for this 2018 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

7599 comparable 2018 HONDA CIVIC listings sold at auction for a median of $4,275, spanning $3,200 to $6,350. At $4,550 this one went 6% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA CIVIC sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 HONDA CIVIC's pre-damage retail value at $18,724. It sold for $4,550 — 76% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this HONDA CIVIC from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - SUN VALLEY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Did this 2018 HONDA CIVIC come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN SHHFK7H7XJU401880?

Accepted Answer

SHHFK7H7XJU401880 identifies this specific 2018 HONDA CIVIC in blue with a 1.5l 4 engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
