Question 1

What do front end 2021 HONDA CIVIC models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 2159 recorded sales of the 2021 HONDA CIVIC with front end damage, the median was $5,200, from $3,450 to $7,700. That is 5% below the $5,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,500 a good price for this 2021 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

4658 comparable 2021 HONDA CIVIC listings sold at auction for a median of $5,500, spanning $3,500 to $8,150. At $8,500 this one went 55% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA CIVIC sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2021 HONDA CIVIC's pre-damage retail value at $20,601. It sold for $8,500 — 59% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

This HONDA CIVIC has front end and rear end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 HONDA CIVIC. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 21,864 miles high for a 2021 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 HONDA CIVIC listings at auction averaged 66,486 miles across 4658 sales, so at 21,864 miles this one sits 67% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
