Question 1

What do hail 2020 HONDA CIVIC models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 168 recorded sales of the 2020 HONDA CIVIC with hail damage, the median was $8,600, from $4,600 to $11,500. That is 72% above the $5,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,100 a good price for this 2020 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

7007 comparable 2020 HONDA CIVIC listings sold at auction for a median of $5,000, spanning $3,400 to $7,400. At $5,100 this one went 2% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA CIVIC sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 HONDA CIVIC's pre-damage retail value at $23,960. It sold for $5,100 — 79% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

This HONDA CIVIC has hail and rear end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 90,051 miles high for a 2020 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 HONDA CIVIC listings at auction averaged 72,843 miles across 7007 sales, so at 90,051 miles this one sits 24% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does a clean title mean for this HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 HONDA CIVIC was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.
