Question 1

What do front end 2019 HONDA CIVIC models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 3374 recorded sales of the 2019 HONDA CIVIC with front end damage, the median was $4,350, from $3,200 to $6,400. That is 4% below the $4,550 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,950 a good price for this 2019 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

7552 comparable 2019 HONDA CIVIC listings sold at auction for a median of $4,550, spanning $3,250 to $6,900. At $3,950 this one went 13% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA CIVIC sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 HONDA CIVIC's pre-damage retail value at $21,839. It sold for $3,950 — 82% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this HONDA CIVIC from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in PA - WEST MIFFLIN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 150 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 HONDA CIVIC. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 31,890 miles high for a 2019 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 HONDA CIVIC listings at auction averaged 83,036 miles across 7552 sales, so at 31,890 miles this one sits 62% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
