Question 1

Was $3,700 a good price for this 2019 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

7552 comparable 2019 HONDA CIVIC listings sold at auction for a median of $4,550, spanning $3,250 to $6,900. At $3,700 this one went 19% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA CIVIC sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 HONDA CIVIC's pre-damage retail value at $15,319. It sold for $3,700 — 76% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a salvage title mean for this HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 HONDA CIVIC was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 HONDA CIVIC. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This HONDA CIVIC has frame damage and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 226,158 miles high for a 2019 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 HONDA CIVIC listings at auction averaged 83,036 miles across 7552 sales, so at 226,158 miles this one sits 172% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
