Question 1

What do water/flood 2018 HONDA CIVIC models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 53 recorded sales of the 2018 HONDA CIVIC with water/flood damage, the median was $3,900, from $3,250 to $5,600. That is 9% below the $4,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a salvage title mean for this HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 HONDA CIVIC was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

Is 65,889 miles high for a 2018 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 HONDA CIVIC listings at auction averaged 94,147 miles across 7624 sales, so at 65,889 miles this one sits 30% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Where was this HONDA CIVIC located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at COPART in HI - KAPOLEI. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 5

Did this 2018 HONDA CIVIC come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with water/flood damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN SHHFK7H51JU235022?

Accepted Answer

SHHFK7H51JU235022 identifies this specific 2018 HONDA CIVIC in white with a 1.5l 4 engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
