Question 1

What do left side 2017 HONDA CIVIC models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 296 recorded sales of the 2017 HONDA CIVIC with left side damage, the median was $4,200, from $3,200 to $5,950. That is 2% above the $4,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,700 a good price for this 2017 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

7771 comparable 2017 HONDA CIVIC listings sold at auction for a median of $4,100, spanning $3,200 to $6,000. At $5,700 this one went 39% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 HONDA CIVIC was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 HONDA CIVIC. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 122,469 miles high for a 2017 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 HONDA CIVIC listings at auction averaged 104,852 miles across 7771 sales, so at 122,469 miles this one sits 17% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This HONDA CIVIC has left side and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
