Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2017 HONDA CIVIC models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 60 recorded sales of the 2017 HONDA CIVIC with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $4,913, from $3,200 to $8,100. That is 20% above the $4,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This HONDA CIVIC sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 HONDA CIVIC was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

Is 145,157 miles high for a 2017 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 HONDA CIVIC listings at auction averaged 105,022 miles across 8045 sales, so at 145,157 miles this one sits 38% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

How far is this HONDA CIVIC from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MT - LEXINGTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

This HONDA CIVIC has normal wear & tear and left & right side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
