Question 1

What do front end 2017 HONDA CIVIC models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 3663 recorded sales of the 2017 HONDA CIVIC with front end damage, the median was $4,000, from $3,150 to $5,600. That is 2% below the $4,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a salvage mean for this HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 HONDA CIVIC was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

Is 174,328 miles high for a 2017 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 HONDA CIVIC listings at auction averaged 104,867 miles across 7865 sales, so at 174,328 miles this one sits 66% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Who sold this 2017 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was STATE FARM INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

Did this 2017 HONDA CIVIC come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
