Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2016 HONDA CIVIC models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 59 recorded sales of the 2016 HONDA CIVIC with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $4,200, from $3,250 to $6,700. That is 9% above the $3,850 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,850 a good price for this 2016 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

6194 comparable 2016 HONDA CIVIC listings sold at auction for a median of $3,850, spanning $3,100 to $5,400. At $6,850 this one went 78% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 HONDA CIVIC was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this HONDA CIVIC from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MT - RIVERSIDE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 95,076 miles high for a 2016 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 HONDA CIVIC listings at auction averaged 113,807 miles across 6194 sales, so at 95,076 miles this one sits 16% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This HONDA CIVIC has normal wear & tear and left side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
