Question 1

What do rear end 2023 HONDA ACCORD models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 436 recorded sales of the 2023 HONDA ACCORD with rear end damage, the median was $8,800, from $5,900 to $13,000. That is 7% above the $8,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,000 a good price for this 2023 HONDA ACCORD?

Accepted Answer

3407 comparable 2023 HONDA ACCORD listings sold at auction for a median of $8,200, spanning $4,500 to $12,400. At $9,000 this one went 10% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA ACCORD sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2023 HONDA ACCORD's pre-damage retail value at $36,242. It sold for $9,000 — 75% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

This HONDA ACCORD has rear end and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 77,112 miles high for a 2023 HONDA ACCORD?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 HONDA ACCORD listings at auction averaged 41,091 miles across 3407 sales, so at 77,112 miles this one sits 88% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does a salvage title mean for this HONDA ACCORD?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 HONDA ACCORD was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.
