Question 1

What do front end 2017 HONDA ACCORD models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 3517 recorded sales of the 2017 HONDA ACCORD with front end damage, the median was $4,000, from $3,150 to $5,800. That is 2% below the $4,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,700 a good price for this 2017 HONDA ACCORD?

Accepted Answer

7059 comparable 2017 HONDA ACCORD listings sold at auction for a median of $4,100, spanning $3,150 to $6,200. At $4,700 this one went 15% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA ACCORD sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 HONDA ACCORD's pre-damage retail value at $15,196. It sold for $4,700 — 69% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 HONDA ACCORD. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This HONDA ACCORD has front end and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 114,041 miles high for a 2017 HONDA ACCORD?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 HONDA ACCORD listings at auction averaged 108,591 miles across 7059 sales, so at 114,041 miles this one sits 5% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
