Question 1

What do mechanical 2019 HONDA ACCORD models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 35 recorded sales of the 2019 HONDA ACCORD with mechanical damage, the median was $6,250, from $3,300 to $8,300. That is 18% above the $5,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,450 a good price for this 2019 HONDA ACCORD?

Accepted Answer

5982 comparable 2019 HONDA ACCORD listings sold at auction for a median of $5,300, spanning $3,550 to $8,250. At $4,450 this one went 16% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA ACCORD sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 HONDA ACCORD's pre-damage retail value at $13,617. It sold for $4,450 — 67% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

Is 96,965 miles high for a 2019 HONDA ACCORD?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 HONDA ACCORD listings at auction averaged 92,559 miles across 5982 sales, so at 96,965 miles this one sits 5% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 HONDA ACCORD. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

How far is this HONDA ACCORD from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MD - BALTIMORE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 40 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
