Question 1

What do front end 2016 HONDA ACCORD models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 2035 recorded sales of the 2016 HONDA ACCORD with front end damage, the median was $3,800, from $3,100 to $5,400. That is 3% below the $3,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,900 a good price for this 2016 HONDA ACCORD?

Accepted Answer

4361 comparable 2016 HONDA ACCORD listings sold at auction for a median of $3,900, spanning $3,100 to $5,700. At $4,900 this one went 26% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA ACCORD sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 HONDA ACCORD's pre-damage retail value at $13,549. It sold for $4,900 — 64% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this HONDA ACCORD?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 HONDA ACCORD was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 HONDA ACCORD. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 99,825 miles high for a 2016 HONDA ACCORD?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 HONDA ACCORD listings at auction averaged 114,300 miles across 4361 sales, so at 99,825 miles this one sits 13% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
