Question 1

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 HONDA ACCORD. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 2

This HONDA ACCORD has roof and unknown damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 3

Is 88,042 miles high for a 2016 HONDA ACCORD?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 HONDA ACCORD listings at auction averaged 114,208 miles across 4445 sales, so at 88,042 miles this one sits 23% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Who sold this 2016 HONDA ACCORD?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

Where was this HONDA ACCORD located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in HI - KAILUA-KONA. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2016 HONDA ACCORD from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 HONDA ACCORD was listed at IAAI as lot 46150276 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
