Question 1

What does a clear mean for this HONDA ACCORD?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 HONDA ACCORD was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 2

How far is this HONDA ACCORD from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - HAWLEY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

Is 179,965 miles high for a 2016 HONDA ACCORD?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 HONDA ACCORD listings at auction averaged 114,292 miles across 4278 sales, so at 179,965 miles this one sits 57% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Did this 2016 HONDA ACCORD come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with repossession damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

Can I buy this 2016 HONDA ACCORD from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 HONDA ACCORD was listed at IAAI as lot 45086674 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 1HGCR2F40GA122551?

Accepted Answer

1HGCR2F40GA122551 identifies this specific 2016 HONDA ACCORD with a 2.4l i-4 di, dohc, vvt, 185hp engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
