Question 1

Was $4,800 a good price for this 2016 HONDA ACCORD?

Accepted Answer

4402 comparable 2016 HONDA ACCORD listings sold at auction for a median of $3,900, spanning $3,100 to $5,725. At $4,800 this one went 23% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a original-tx mean for this HONDA ACCORD?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 HONDA ACCORD was sold on a original-tx. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 3

How far is this HONDA ACCORD from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - DALE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 HONDA ACCORD. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Who sold this 2016 HONDA ACCORD?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

Is 145,117 miles high for a 2016 HONDA ACCORD?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 HONDA ACCORD listings at auction averaged 114,239 miles across 4402 sales, so at 145,117 miles this one sits 27% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
