Question 1

What do rear end 2016 HONDA ACCORD models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 575 recorded sales of the 2016 HONDA ACCORD with rear end damage, the median was $4,000, from $3,200 to $6,000. That is 3% above the $3,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,200 a good price for this 2016 HONDA ACCORD?

Accepted Answer

4361 comparable 2016 HONDA ACCORD listings sold at auction for a median of $3,900, spanning $3,100 to $5,700. At $3,200 this one went 18% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This HONDA ACCORD sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a non-repairable mean for this HONDA ACCORD?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 HONDA ACCORD was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 5

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA ACCORD sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 HONDA ACCORD's pre-damage retail value at $16,256. It sold for $3,200 — 80% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 6

Is 72,666 miles high for a 2016 HONDA ACCORD?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 HONDA ACCORD listings at auction averaged 114,300 miles across 4361 sales, so at 72,666 miles this one sits 36% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
