Question 1

What do side 2016 HONDA ACCORD models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 414 recorded sales of the 2016 HONDA ACCORD with side damage, the median was $3,900, from $3,150 to $5,600. That is level with the $3,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,550 a good price for this 2016 HONDA ACCORD?

Accepted Answer

4242 comparable 2016 HONDA ACCORD listings sold at auction for a median of $3,900, spanning $3,100 to $5,700. At $3,550 this one went 9% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA ACCORD sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 HONDA ACCORD's pre-damage retail value at $10,357. It sold for $3,550 — 66% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a clean title mean for this HONDA ACCORD?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 HONDA ACCORD was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 5

Is 365,764 miles high for a 2016 HONDA ACCORD?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 HONDA ACCORD listings at auction averaged 114,214 miles across 4242 sales, so at 365,764 miles this one sits 220% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This HONDA ACCORD has side and rear end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
