Question 1

What do side 2023 HONDA ACCORD models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 339 recorded sales of the 2023 HONDA ACCORD with side damage, the median was $9,000, from $6,100 to $12,600. That is 10% above the $8,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,700 a good price for this 2023 HONDA ACCORD?

Accepted Answer

3508 comparable 2023 HONDA ACCORD listings sold at auction for a median of $8,200, spanning $4,525 to $12,400. At $9,700 this one went 18% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA ACCORD sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2023 HONDA ACCORD's pre-damage retail value at $27,145. It sold for $9,700 — 64% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

Is 197,335 miles high for a 2023 HONDA ACCORD?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 HONDA ACCORD listings at auction averaged 41,510 miles across 3508 sales, so at 197,335 miles this one sits 375% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 HONDA ACCORD. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

This HONDA ACCORD has side and undercarriage damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
