Question 1

What do front end 2024 FORD RANGER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 416 recorded sales of the 2024 FORD RANGER with front end damage, the median was $11,800, from $5,700 to $20,100. That is 3% below the $12,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $13,450 a good price for this 2024 FORD RANGER?

Accepted Answer

719 comparable 2024 FORD RANGER listings sold at auction for a median of $12,200, spanning $6,250 to $22,500. At $13,450 this one went 10% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This FORD RANGER sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How far is this FORD RANGER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in PA - CONSHOHOCKEN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 150 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 34,793 miles high for a 2024 FORD RANGER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2024 FORD RANGER listings at auction averaged 17,945 miles across 719 sales, so at 34,793 miles this one sits 94% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does a salvage mean for this FORD RANGER?

Accepted Answer

This 2024 FORD RANGER was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.
